The Loyola University Chicago track & field program had an impressive outing at the Illinois Twilight in Champaign, Ill., yesterday, boasting three school records among a plethora of top-10 finishes. Hosted by the University of Illinois, the seven-meet pitted Loyola against two Missouri Valley Conference foes, as well as two Big 10 rivals, but the Ramblers came out on top. Alison Szykowny shined in the field events for the women's team, bringing home a pair of school records in both the discus and the hammer throw, while the men's 4x100m team blazed to a new school record to best the previous mark by nearly one second.
