Loyola University Chicago senior Andy Fenske was named Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office on Wednesday. The marketing major posted a time of 24:46.7 at the MVC Championships on Nov. 2, earning ninth place overall and securing a runner-up finish for Loyola in the team standings. For his efforts, Fenske earned First Team All-Conference accolades and was awarded the Men's Elite 18 honor for having the highest grade-point average among the top finishers. The senior was also named to the MVC Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team earlier this week, following his performance at the conference meet.
